Dear Ms. Green,
We, the board members of California’s Association of Music, have observed that your venerable institution, Perry’s & Chilton School of Music have always performed very well in all the music competitions and talent hunt shows. But we have also noted that your school only participates in western music competitions and lacks students who perform in eastern music, especially Indian Music.
We would be obliged if you allow us to send a team of four teachers to open up workshops for students interested in Indian music. This would bring variation in your talents and highlight the speciality of the students graduating from your school.
Can we discuss this proposal further in your office? Please feel free to approach us with any queries you might have. I also thank you for your time and prompt attention.
Miss S. Basu
