Subject: applying for the position of an interior design assistant at your firm

Respected Mr. Henry,

I, Fred Markson am writing this letter to you to apply for the challenging yet very interesting position of an interior design assistant at your reputed firm. I came across the job opening yesterday through the London Times Mid Weekly newspaper and decided to apply for it.

I completed my diploma course in interior designing from New York and then pursued a short term advanced course called ‘modern day interiors’ from London itself. I have been part of a training program as an interior design intern at Martha Designers for 6 months and have thus gained the needed exposure to work as an assistant for your firm.

If given a chance, I would produce amazing work, top level creativity and a lot of hardwork. I have fresh ideas, a practical approach to designing and a lot of passion for this industry. Hope to hear from you soon

Thanking you,

Sincerely,

Fred Markson
